Love Tom Curren, and the message in this movie is great, for Christians or anyone that surfs, Really puts perspective on life.
Great Doc!
Like any great "sports movie" Promised land is really about so much more. What I originally thought was a movie about surfing in Israel actually taught me a lot about the region as a whole--and even more about the modern human condition. I high recommend this documentary, it was well worth a watch and if you're anything like me you will be talking about it to your friends for awhile after you see it.
